Community

Making a difference to the communities of the South West Glasgow is something we take very seriously. Environmental services, regeneration of derelict spaces, site clearance and supporting people into work programmes all adds together to create a cleaner, greener and safer place to stay.

The Community team at Glasgow South West Regeneration Agency work hard every day to make sure they are making a difference to what’s happening in around the South West of Glasgow.  Through partnership working we offer a range of projects and services designed to make life better for everyone.

There’s the regeneration and development of derelict spaces to create community garden’s and pathways. The environmental team work in conjunction with the local housing associations to keep common areas clear with hedge cutting, planting and site clearance.

There’s employment and training programmes for young and old as well as support for people living in the community with mental health issues.
