Bringing Business Together

Glasgow South Business Club was established in 1986 to provide local businesses with a means of coming together to share idea, information and trading opportunities. Since the early days membership within the club has grown and today current members come from a wide variety of business sectors and provide a comprehensive range of products and services.

Glasgow South West Regeneration Agency have been instrumental in the development of the Business Club over the years. They provide financial support, administration resources and there is a dedicated staff member on the executive committee. Part of the remit for GSWRA is economic development and growth – Glasgow South Business Club is one such way of making sure that this happens in and around the South West of Glasgow.

Members are encouraged to trade with each other and to recommend other members whenever they hear of a need. Through inter company trading and mutual support the club continues to play a part in revitalising the local economy.

Monthly lunchtime meetings are held and there is always an opportunity for members to network informally. Members are encouraged to take the opportunity to make a four minute presentation about their business. Twice a year the meeting is dedicated to structured networking. Guest Speakers are also invited along to address topics of interest and benefit to the membership.

The Glasgow South Business Club has much to offer new and established businesses and looks forward to welcoming you to one or all of our meetings. In addition to all this it’s a great opportunity to chin-wag with your friends and neighbours in the business community!
