Starting Your New Job

Starting a new job is exciting but it can also be scary. At Glasgow South West Regeneration Agency we are on hand to give you all the support, advice and training to help you settle into your new job.

Through the aftercare service, we actively keep in touch with you for the first six months. We know that many excellent employees end up leaving a great new job because of issues outside work. Our goal is to help you do everything you can to keep the job.

What the Aftercare can offer you:

• Information and advice
• Links to other agencies e.g. money advice, childcare services, health and lifestyle advice, housing etc.
• One to one planning support e.g. travel assistance, dress code advice etc.
• Access to training
• Access to special equipment e.g. work-wear etc.
• Trouble shooting as required.
• No difficulty is too small – you are not alone and if we cannot help, GSWRA have many contacts that can help! We can even help with job-related problems.
