WIN stands for What I Need In Life and is a fantastic project that has been on the go since 2005. Overall WIN is there to help people that are dealing with issues relating to their mental health and well being. Supporting people through these issues can bring people a greater sense of their self and allow them to move closer to employment opportunities, training or education.
The project is open to anyone aged 16 and over and involves attending a series of specially designed workshops and training modules aimed at supporting people to function to the best of their ability each and every day. The programme is all about taking positive steps to get people moving in the right direction. The workshop sessions look at confidence building, assertiveness, life skills and developing the ability to communicate openly and honestly.
